Timothy Morgan

Timothy Morgan, 55, of Viola, died Monday, Aug. 17, 2009, at Trinity West, Rock Island. Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of Tim's life will be held at City Limit's in Viola on Friday, Aug. 21, beginning at 3 p.m. Memorials may be left for his family. Dennison Funeral Home is handling arrangements. He was born March 1, 1954, in Moline, the son of Donald and Waunita Somers Morgan. Mr. Morgan worked at Goldstar FS, Aledo. He enjoyed playing pool and shuffleboard and collecting miniature cars. Survivors include his soulmate of 30 years, Thelma "Shorty" Morse, Viola; one daughter, Jennifer Dobbeleare, Davenport; 10 grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Tackett, Kentucky, and Trude Burton, South Carolina; three brothers, Don Morgan, Geneseo, Chuck Morgan, and Whit Morgan, North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents.
