Tamara A. (Noyd) Ryan, 70, of Viola, Illinois died Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Trinity Rock Island.
Visitation is Tuesday, Sept. 26th from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Dennison Funeral Home, Viola. A Celebration of Life will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 27th at Dennison Funeral Home, Viola. Burial will be in Viola Cemetery. Memorials may be left for Viola United Methodist Church.
Tamara Ann was born February 21, 1947 in Rock Island, Illinois a daughter of Everett D. and Frances V. Ayers Tary. She attended Winola High School and later graduated from Cele Whan Academy. She married David Noyd, they later divorced. On Sept. 12, 2016, she married Martin Ryan. Tammy worked as a hairdresser in the area since 1965. She also worked at Mid American Energy from 1998 until she retired in 2012. Tammy was active in the community, as a member of Viola United Methodist Church and Viola Cemetery Board and former member of Viola Community Food Pantry. She enjoyed gardening and landscaping, antiquing, going to carriage shows and Amish auctions with friends. She especially enjoyed traveling either with Marty or Leisa, Emalie and Denise.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband: Martin Ryan, Viola, IL; children: Leisa (Greg) Streeter, New Windsor, IL and Greg Noyd, Matherville, IL; grandchildren: Emalie (Patrick Traylor) Whan and Sierra Noyd; sister: Denise (Al) Hampton, Aledo, IL and her children: Jon Hampton, Lindsey (Tommy) Adams and family and Jim (Stephanie) Hampton and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and niece.
