Sandra Allison

Sandra K. Allison, 66, of Matherville, died Saturday, April 1, 2006, at her home. Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 5, at Dennison Funeral Home in Viola. Burial is in Farlow Grove Cemetery, Matherville. Visitation is 3-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital. She was born Aug. 3, 1939, in Galesburg, the daughter of Keith and Vernie Williams Switzer. She married Ted Allison on July 23, 1960, in Viola. Sandra was a homemaker. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, arts and crafts, gardening and especially helping her grandchildren. She was a Cub Scouts den mother and also an election judge. Survivors are her husband, Ted Allison, Matherville; two sons, Britt Allison, Matherville, Trent (spouse, Dee) Allison, Milan; five grandchildren, Sarah Allison and Shane Hill, both Macomb, Ill., Brady Allison, Reynolds, Tara and Bailee Allison, both Milan; brother, Dallas (spouse, Pauline) Switzer, New Windsor. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter, Traci.
