Sally Carmichael

Sally A. Carmichael, 72, of Aledo, Illinois died Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Aledo Rehab and Health Care.

Memorial services are 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left for the family.

Sally was born December 24, 1942 in Davenport, Iowa a daughter of Harold and Francis Gist Carmichael.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother.  Sally enjoyed reading and was constantly wanting to learn new things.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her granddaughter, Makayla.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters:  Michelle Carroll and Stephanie Sofka, both of Allentown, PA and Missy (Montie) Schell, Aledo, IL; 10 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold Carmichael and Francis Kohler and sister Janet Bert.
