Richard Hill

Richard L. "Dick" Hill, 60, of Aledo, formerly of Seaton, died Friday, March 3, 2006 at Trinity West, Rock Island. Visitation is 1 - 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 8 at Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo. A private inurnment will be held at Candor Cemetery, Seaton. In lieu of flowers memorials may go to the family. Dick was born April 10, 1945 in Monmouth to Frank Eugene and Alice Edith (Thompson) Hill. He married Janet Brown June 7, 1963 in Seaton. He worked most of his life in the auto body repair business. He enjoyed riding his bike. In his early years he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Dick is survived by his wife Janet Hill, Aledo, two daughters Lisa (Mort) McWhorter, Aledo and Trudi (Lance) Shepard, New Boston, two sons, Jeff (Sherry) Hill, and Chad Hill, all of Joy. Also six grandchildren, Jennifer Hill, Sarah Hill, Ashley Dixon, Cody Dixon, Kirstie Dixon and Dylan Shepard; one sister, Jeannine (Robert) Kenney, Aledo; two brothers, William (Sharon) Hill, Keithsburg and Dean (Carol) Hill, Aledo; and a special friend, Sandy Vestal, Aledo. He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant brother and one sister, Jocklyn.
