Randy G. Fontenoy, 55, of Boden, Illinois died Thursday, January 28, 2016 at his home, after a short battle with cancer. Per his wishes, there are no services. Dennison Funeral Home, Viola is assisting the family.
Randy was born January 7, 1961 in Moline, Illinois a son of August and Claricia “Ann” Dilts Fontenoy. The Winola High School graduate went on to work road construction out of the Laborers Union Local 309. He was a member of the Matherville Fraternal Order of Eagles. Randy enjoyed hanging out with his buddies and was known as “The Phantom” among family and friends.
He is survived by his siblings: Patricia Withers, Orion, IL, Linda (Mark) Hintermeister, Bartlett, TX, Elta (Tony) Castro, Moline, IL, David (Betty) Fontenoy, Coal Valley, IL and Ronald (Barbara) Fontenoy, New Windsor, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents, special friend and partner – Barbara June Harrison, and brothers – Allen “Al” and Richard Fontenoy.
