Peter Gaul

Peter C. Gaul, 79, of Aledo, Illinois died Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Genesis Medical Center, Aledo.

Per his wishes, cremation has been accorded and there are no services.  Memorials may be left in his name to the American Cancer Society.  Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo is handling arrangements.

Peter was born May 12, 1941 in Evanston, Illinois the son of Robert Edward and Lucille Cummings Gaul.  In 1963, he married Gean Johnson in Alexis, Illinois, they later divorced.  Peter worked as a surveyor for the Peoria Sanitary District.  He enjoyed fishing and caring for his pet turtles.

Survivors include his son:  Robert E. Gaul, Washington, Illinois; granddaughter:  Jessica Gaul and sisters:  Judy Meyer, Prophetstown, Illinois and Margaret Cunningham, Denver, Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Mary Lou Boege.
