Patricia Harkert

Patricia Harkert, 80, of East Moline, Illinois died Monday, January 25, 2021 at home.

Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 28th, with visitation 1 hour prior, at Dennison Funeral Home, Viola.  Masks and social distancing will be required within the funeral home.  Burial will be in Viola Cemetery.  Memorials may be left for the family.

Patricia Ann was born June 3, 1940 in Rock Island, a daughter of Vernon and Eleanor Sharp Dusenberry.  She was a graduate of Rock Island High School.  On July 3, 1959 she married Walter Harkert.  They were married until his death on January 25, 2003.  Patricia was a longtime member of the Moose Lodge.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children:  Wally (Julie) Harkert of East Moline, Connie Harkert of East Moline, John (Sue) Harkert of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Dean (Marti) Harkert of East Moline and Mark Harkert of East Moline; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; siblings:  Dick (Dee) Dusenberry, Bill (Esther) Eggers and Rita Clark and brother-in-law:  Mike (Sue) Harkert.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and grandson:  Jeremiah.
