Nathaniel Rhoades

Nathaniel Scott Rhoades, 21, of Keithsburg, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2011, at Mercer County Hospital, Aledo, resulting from an automobile accident. Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, at First Christian Church, Keithsburg. Burial is at Greenmound Cemetery, Keithsburg. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7, at the church. Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo, is handling arrangements. Memorials may be made to Mercer County D.A.R.E. Program. He was born Feb. 6, 1989, in Galesburg, the son of Scott and Mardeana Hawn Norris. Nathan worked at Heinz in Muscatine. He was a member of First Christian Church, Keithsburg. Survivors include his mother, Mardeana DeRoo, Keithsburg; father, Scott Norris, Chicago; and stepfather, John Rhoades, Washington, Ill.; siblings, Danelle Rhoades, Keithsburg, Katherine Rhoades and Kaleb Rhoades, both of Washington, and Taylor DeRoo, Keithsburg; grandparents, Don and Iris Hawn, Keithsburg, and Jim and Jean Norris, Arizona.
