Nancy Y. Coulter

Nancy Y. Coulter, 88, of New Boston, Illinois died Saturday, December 24, 2022 at home surrounded by family.

Funeral services are at New Boston United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 2^nd, with visitation one hour prior.  Burial will be in New Boston Cemetery.  Following the graveside, there will be a luncheon at the church where friends and family will gather with food and shared memories.  Memorials may be left for the family.  Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo is handling arrangements.

Nancy Yvonne was born December 24, 1934 in San Joaquin County, California to Daniel and Anna Matts Netz.  She graduated from Lodi High School.  On August 9, 1953 she married Richard Coulter in Lodi, California.  They were married until his passing on April 16, 1998.  Nancy was a homemaker.  She enjoyed playing BINGO, slot machines, and solitaire; as well as quilting, reading, and watching westerns. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her children:  Debra Bedford of New Boston, Robert (Donna) Coulter of Aledo, Paul (Sheri) Coulter of LaHarpe, and Todd (Nadine) Coulter of Aledo; grandchildren:  Missy (Ashley) Wade, Amber (Mike) Roberts, Megan Salmon, Tyrell (Brenda) Coulter, Heath (Leah) Coulter, Alison (Barry) Lafever, and Katie (Brody) Hoerner; great grandchildren:  Dameon (Hayley) Sanders, Cheyenne (Austin Carle) Vos, Gracie Vos, Sunny Roberts, Bobbi Jo Roberts, Emma (Brandon) Coulter, Trenton Coulter, Zaiden Salmon, Sarah Coulter, Tyson Coulter, Jacob Coulter, Peyton Coulter Shaffner, Jaidon Coulter, Keirah-lyn Coulter, and Kade Lafever; great great grandchildren:  Natalynn Sanders and Nova Sanders; siblings:  Cal Netz and Norma McCullough; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son-in-law:  Tom Bedford, grandson:  Michael Bedford, and sisters:  Rosalee Netz and Ruth Pugh.

As Nancy was an avid Cardinals fan, the family asks all to wear St. Louis Cardinals clothing (or the color red) to the service.
