Michael Evans Rambo, 54, of Aledo, Illinois died Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at Dennison Funeral Home, Viola. Memorials may be left for the family.
Michael was born February 27, 1958 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Walter and Margaret Miller Rambo. He graduated from Winola High School, Viola. Michael served in the Army. He worked for Hawkeye Paving for 25 years. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed the St. Louis Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, Iowa Hawkeyes and NASCAR, especially Jeff Gordon. He loved to fish.
Survivors include his parents, Walter and Margaret Rambo, Aledo, IL; daughter, Jennifer Rambo and grandson Aiden Rambo, Moline, IL; siblings, Jeanie Seitz, Des Moines, IA, Curtis Rambo, Aledo, IL and Shirley Christianson (Todd Roth) Reynolds, IL.
