Michael L. McGehee, 53, of Keithsburg, Illinois died Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Genesis Illini Campus, Silvis, Illinois.
Memorial services are 2:00 p.m., with visitation 1 hour prior, on Sunday, March 19th at First Christian Church, Keithsburg. Burial will be at a later date in Greenmound Cemetery, Keithsburg. Memorials may be left for the family. Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo is handling arrangements.
Michael was born April 9, 1963 in Monmouth, Illinois a son of Virginia Shoemaker and Robert McGehee. Mike was raised by his mother and step-father, Frank Briles. He was married to Debbie Showalter; later marrying Tami Pullen in 1992, she preceded him in death in May 1996. Mike was self-employed. He enjoyed riding motorcycles.
Survivors include his mother: Jeanie Briles, Keithsburg, IL, step-father: Frank Briles, Keithsburg, IL; daughters: Lavonne Wheeler and Katelyn McGehee, both of Keithsburg, IL; step-daughter: Courtney Stubbs, Ottumwa, IA; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and siblings: Kelly (Rick) Andress, Woodhull, IL, Becky (Tom) Hisey, Edgington, IL, Tim (Wendy) McGehee, Keithsburg, IL and Scott (Nancy) Briles, Muscatine, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Tami and father, Robert.
