Mary Ann Farwell, 70, of Aledo, Illinois died Monday, October 16, 2017 at Genesis Medical Center, Aledo.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Oct. 20th at 11:00 a.m., with visitation 1 hour prior, at United Methodist Church, Viola, IL. Memorials may be left for the church. Burial will be at a later date in Viola Cemetery. Dennison Funeral Home, Viola is handling arrangements.
Mary Ann was born June 6, 1947 in Geneseo, IL a daughter of Wayne and Betty Kropp Farwell. She worked as a CNA at Mercer County Hospital, retiring after 35 years. Mary Ann was a member of Viola United Methodist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed doing puzzles, watching game shows on t.v. and playing cards and bingo.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother: Betty Farwell, Aledo, IL; siblings: Gary (Jo) Farwell, Whittier, CA, Audrey Farwell, Springfield, IL, Susan (Jeff) Bigger, Biggsville, IL, Richard (Cindy) Farwell, Bettendorf, IA and Sandra Peterson, Moline, IL and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
