Marjorie Cook

Marjorie R. Cook, age 80, of Gurnee, Illinois formerly of New Boston passed away at home August 9, 2010. She is survived by her two sons, Morris D. III (Carol S.) and Mark A. (Julie); grandchildren, Allison, Lana, Ian, Johanna and Sarah; brother, Frank Reissner and sister, Alberta (Clifford) Fricke. She was preceded in death by her husband Morris D. Jr., granddaughter Hannah and sister Dorothy. The former Marjorie Reissner was born April 28, 1930 in Hinsdale, IL. Mrs. Cook was a retired school teacher and guidance counselor in the Rock Island area. She was a member of the Living Faith United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, attending concerts and playing bridge with her friends. Funeral Service will be Friday, August 13th at 11:00am at the Living Faith United Methodist Church, Waukegan, IL with visitation one hour prior. Graveside services are Saturday, August 14th at 1:00 p.m. at New Boston Cemetery, New Boston, IL with Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo handling arrangements.
