Marie Coulter

Marie Coulter, 85, of New Boston, died Friday, Oct. 13, 2006, at Mercer County Nursing Home, Aledo. Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, at United Methodist Church, New Boston. Burial is in New Boston Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, at United Methodist Church, New Boston. Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo, is handling arrangements. Memorials may be made to New Boston Volunteer Fire and Ambulance. She was born Jan. 22, 1921, in Texas County, Mo., daughter of Sim and Annie Henderson Adkins. She married Fred Coulter Dec. 14, 1937, in Muscatine, Iowa. He preceded her in death Oct. 9, 1996. She was a homemaker and helped on the farm. Marie enjoyed sewing, gardening, music and especially spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Joann and Joe Richter, New Boston, Ruthie and Jerry Duncan, New Boston, Shirley and Melvin Bond, Aledo; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren on the way; nephew, Albert Adkins, Missouri; special friend, Mamie Howe, Eliza. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and several brothers and sisters.
