Lloyd W. Shaw, 66, of Keithsburg, Illinois died Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Genesis East, Davenport, Iowa.

Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 18, 2016 at Keithsburg First Christian Church.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services and again after the service, along with a time of food and fellowship.  Following the service, cremation will be accorded and burial will be at a later date in Greenmound Cemetery, Keithsburg.  Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo is assisting the family.

Lloyd was born September 15, 1949 in Aledo, Illinois, the son of Clellon and Georgia McKinney Shaw.  On December 9, 1967, he married Luci Brown in Aledo.  Over the years, he had worked at Farmall for 10 years, City of Keithsburg for 10 years, then retiring from General Grind and Machine after 14 years.  He was a former Keithsburg Volunteer Fireman and for many years coached softball.  Lloyd enjoyed fishing, hunting and boating.  You could always find him riding around town in his Gator and babysitting Max.  He enjoyed spending time with great grandchildren Emma, Trenton and Zaiden, also Savannah and Logan, and Max.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife:  Luci Shaw, Keithsburg; children:  Leslie (Sam) Salmon, Aledo, Dee (Darin) Nylin, Keithsburg and Cley Shaw, Aledo; grandchildren:  Sam (Megan) Salmon, Aledo, Cindy (Greg) Hockenberry, Danville, IA, Alee Nylin (James Marshall), Keithsburg, Tyson Nylin, Galesburg and Jessica Shaw, Keithsburg; twin brother:  Boyd (Donna) Shaw, Keithsburg and nephews:  Bill (Mindy) Shaw, Aledo and Boyd (Tiffany) Shaw, Kirkwood.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
