Krista Duytschaever

Krista Duytschaever, 66, of Milan, Illinois passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021, after a short battle of liver and kidney problems, at University of Iowa Hospitals.

Per her wishes, cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left for the family.  A private burial will be held in Viola Cemetery.

Krista was born June 13, 1955 in Moline, Illinois to William and Elaine Richardson Lawson.  In May of 1986, she gave birth to her daughter Allison.  Krista loved spending time with her grandchildren and daughter, and going out on lunch dates with a few close friends.  She enjoyed bowling, camping, and fishing.  Her heart was made of gold, she was a very special woman to many.  Krista was a great mother, nana and friend.  She worked at Royal Neighbors of American for 27 years.  After retirement, she worked a few different jobs.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter:  Allison Miller (Chris Brown) of Milan, Illinois; grandchildren:  Sadie, Hannah and Blake of Milan; brother:  Kirk (Darlene) of Nashville, Tennessee; as well as two uncles, aunt, niece, nephew, numerous cousins, and very close friend Jerri Larrison of Hampton, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friend Blair Smith.
