Ken Yeater

Ken Yeater, 35, of Mackinaw, Illinois died Sunday, October 17, 2021 as a result of an automobile accident near Knoxville, Illinois.

Funeral services are Saturday, October 23rd at 2:00 p.m., with visitation 1 hour prior, at Dennison Funeral Home, Viola, Illinois.  Burial will be in Viola Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left for his son Atticus Brown.

Kenneth Steven was born October 2, 1986 in Peoria, Illinois the son of Joy Brown Yeater.  He graduated from Galesburg High School, then received his Bachelors in Theatrical Arts on a full scholarship from Monmouth College.  Ken was an independent contractor as a home inspector for insurance companies.  On May 29, 2019, he married Amber Asbell in Las Vegas.  Ken enjoyed playing Dungeons and Dragons with friends as well as video games with his brother and uncle.  He liked to collect D & D dice.  Ken was proud of his podcast, Rolling in the Geek.  Time spent outdoors with his family was also special to Ken.  He had a mind for taking any problem and finding the solution to fix it himself.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife:  Amber Yeater of Mackinaw, Illinois; sons:  Brayden Bresnahan and Atticus Brown; brother:  Ben Yeater (Maggie Buda) of Morton, Illinois; grandfather:  Ken Brown of Viola, Illinois and his uncle:  Sean (Susan) Brown and their son Kevin of Crystal Lake, Illinois as well as many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Joy Brown, uncle Kevin Brown and grandmother Jackie Brown.
