Katherine Freed

Katherine Freed, 83 of Oak Glen Home, Coal Valley, Illinois died Friday, July 13, 2007 at Trinity Medical Center West Campus, Rock Island. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Alexis Cemetery. Memorials may be left for the American Cancer Society. Katherine was born October 9, 1923 in Matherville, Illinois the daughter of Robert and Clara Cameron Allison. She married Howard Freed in 1942 in Missouri. Mrs. Freed was a homemaker and was a member of the Latter Day Saints. Katherine is survived by two sister; Edna Ripperger, Dahinda, IL and Betty Adams, Prophetstown, IL and two brothers; David Allison, Springfield, OH and Ted Allison, Matherville, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons William and Thomas, four brothers and three sisters.
