Karen Sue Grammer

Karen Sue Grammer, 60, of Aledo, died Thursday, March 2, 2006 at Trinity Medical Center West, Rock Island. Cremation rites have been accorded. Services were 5 p.m. Sunday, March 5 at Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo. Visitation was 2 - 5 p.m. prior to the funeral. Memorials may be made to the family. She was born May 26, 1945 to Glenn and Yvonne (Payne) Halm in Grants Pass, Ore. She married William Eugene Grammer in 1964 in Eugene, Ore. Sue worked as a cashier at Quinn's Grocery Store Aledo for 20 years. She then went to work at Mercer Market, Aledo, where she was working for the past 15 years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing solitaire. Sue is survived by one daughter Katie (Ron) McCaw, Aledo, two sons, Pete (Chantal) Grammer, Aledo and Todd (Angie) Grammer, Nebo, and five grandchildren Kelsey, Ethan, Calen, Eli and Bethany. Also, one brother Rich Halm, Alaska and various cousins, aunts, and uncles in Oregon survive. She was preceded in death by her parents.
