Judy Maynard

Judy Deloris Maynard, 78, of Matherville, Illinois died Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Genesis Medical Center East Campus, Davenport, Iowa.

Visitation will be 5-7pm Friday, March 11, 2022 at Dennison Funeral Home, Viola. Memorials may be made to one’s choice in honor of Judy.

Judy was born January 18, 1944 in Moline, Illinois to Robert and June (Jones) Harrison. She married Donald Smith October 31, 1964 in Kahoka, MO. She later married Jimmie Maynard in June of 1973 in New Windsor, IL. She spent her later years with Galen Filler. Judy worked several different types of jobs from waitressing to truck driving. She was very artistic and enjoyed baseball, reading, collecting dolls, flower gardens, and watching General Hospital and her “boyfriend” David Muir.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children Glenda Maynard of Aledo, IL, J.R. Smith of Matherville, IL, Dawn Smith of Viola, IL, Jodie Cassidy of Davie, FL, Tony Maynard of Matherville, IL, Rusty Smith of East Moline, IL, and Carmen Maynard of Aledo, IL; grandchildren Taylor, Bailey, Cory, Robert, Michael, Josh, Derek, Jennah, Jessica, Matt, Shane, and Kenny; great grandchildren Conner, Ryker, and one lovingly expected; brother Kieth (Vicki) Harrison; sister in laws Barb Harrison, Theresa Harrison, and Karen Barnett.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, boyfriend Galen Filler, siblings Darrel, Gorden, Barbara, and Fay “Chuck”, and a dear sister-in-law Cid Harrison.
