Judith Thompson

Judith E. Thompson, 60, of Aledo died Saturday, March 31, 2007, at Trinity West, Rock Island. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, at Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo. Private burial will be in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association or Diabetes Association. She was born July 30, 1946, in Muscatine, the daughter of Lloyd and Beulah Webster Brierly. She married Eugene Thompson June 2, 1968, in Aledo. She was a 1964 graduate of Westmer High School. Judy worked at the Rock Island Arsenal for nearly 20 years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed shopping. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church, Aledo. Survivors include her husband, Eugene Thompson, Aledo; daughter, Amber Adams, Aledo; son, Aaron Thompson, Aledo; two grandchildren, Shane and Kindra Adams; two stepgrandchildren, Heather and Carrie Adams; stepgreat-granddaughter, Cadance Woods; mother, Beulah Brierly, Aledo; brother, William Brierly, Bourbonnais, Ill. She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd.
