Judie Struck, 70, of Viola, Illinois passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at her home.
Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 22nd at Dennison Funeral Home, Viola. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday, September 21st from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Dennison Funeral Home, Viola. Memorials may be left for the family.
Judie was born in Canton, Illinois on February 20, 1946, a daughter of Frank and Elizabeth Aborn Myers. On May 29, 1965, she married Fred Struck in Rock Island, Illinois. She and her devoted husband, Fred, were married for 51 years. Judie enjoyed going to the boat, watching soap operas and NASCAR and shopping. Her greatest joy was spending time with family, especially her grandkids. She loved the challenge of sales and worked for many sales companies over the years. Her greatest accomplishment was becoming the first female GM for Metal Sales Manufacturing in southwest Rock Island. She was currently working at Sears Appliances in Davenport, Iowa.
Those left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband: Fred Struck, Viola, IL; daughter: Lori (Jim) Sedlock, Sherrard, IL; son: Brian (Kendra) Struck, Fairfield, IA; grandchildren: DJ (Trisha) Sedlock, Amber Sedlock, Beth Sedlock, Sam Struck, Nykole Thacker, Kelsey Thacker, Mitchell Thacker and Lily Struck; great grandchildren: Camden and Remington Sedlock and siblings: Steve Myers, Tom Myers, Frank Myers, Susie Adams, Glenn Myers and Julie Godsey.
