Joshua D. Fontenoy, 39, of New Windsor, Illinois died Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at his home.
Visitation will be held at Maranatha Chapel, 2031 US Highway 150, Alpha, IL on Monday, June 5th from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m., followed by a Memorial Service at 5:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left for the family.
Josh was born January 6, 1978 in Aledo, Illinois the son of Ronald and Barbara Adams Fontenoy. He attended Sherrard and Galva Schools and was currently working on his Electrical Apprenticeship out of I.B.E.W. Local 145. Josh was a fan of NASCAR and the Kansas City Chiefs. He loved Harley Davidson Motorcycles and enjoyed riding and working on them in his free time.
Survivors include his 3 children: Hope Fontenoy, Alexis, IL, Cassidy Fontenoy and Caleb Owen Fontenoy, both of New Windsor, IL; grandson: Lucas Fontenoy; parents: Ron and Barb Fontenoy, New Windsor, IL; sister: Debra Fontenoy (Michael) Ackerman, Cedar Rapids, IA and grandpa: Kenneth Robert Adams, Moline, IL.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: August and Ann Fontenoy and Jean Adams.
