Jolene Pitman, 47, of Matherville, Illinois died Saturday, June 22, 2013 at her home.
Funeral services are on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at 11:30 a.m., with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, at Dennison Funeral Home, Viola. Burial will be in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, Viola. Memorials may be left for the family.
Jolene was born September 3, 1965 in Rock Island, Illinois a daughter of Donald and Juli Redpath Pitman. Jolene had been a preschool teacher at the Arsenal and Just Kids in Milan. She enjoyed crafting and antiquing. Jolene loved animals, and opened her home to many that were injured. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Matherville.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jessica Pitman, Moline; parents, Don & Juli Pitman, Matherville; sisters & brothers-in-law, Denise & Pete Mack, Viola and Christine & Mike DeLoose, Viola; her twin brother and sister-in-law, Joe & Allison Pitman, Oneida and nieces & nephews, Katelyn, Kyle and Ryan Mack, Makayla, Kian and Quinn DeLoose and Collin and Hanna Pitman.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ella & James Redpath and Verlee & Emery Pitman.
