Joanne Malcolm

Joanne E. Malcolm, 66, of Keithsburg, died Dec. 13, 2006, at Aledo Rehab and Health Center. Services are 11 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church, Keithsburg. Burial is in Greenmound Cemetery, Keithsburg. Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the church. Memorials may be left for the family. Arrangements are by Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo. She was born April 29, 1940, in Galesburg, a daughter of LeRoy and Ila Devlin Berry. She married Bill Malcolm in 1959, in Rio. Her longtime companion, Jim DeLap passed away in 1999. Jo had worked at Gale Products in Galesburg for many years. She was a member of Rio Presbyterian Church. Jo was a good friend to all. Surviving are her daughter, Stacey Rowland, Keithsburg; son, Lane Malcolm, Rockford, Ill.; four grandchildren; two geat-grandchildren; mother, Ila Berry and sister, Pat Berry, both of Clearwater, Fla. She was preceded in death by her father; sister, Jaquy Gamble; and companion, Jim DeLap.
