Jeannette Sloan

Jeannette E. "Phemie" Sloan, 68, of Moline, died Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, at Genesis East, Davenport. Services are 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Greenview Memorial Gardens Chapel, East Moline. Visitation is 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at Dennison, Viola. Memorials may be made to Opportunity Center/ARC. She was born July 30, 1942, in Eskridge, Kan., to Wiley and Mary Rowley Sloan. She held various jobs through ARC of Rock Island County. She enjoyed ceramics, embroidery and needlepoint. Surviving are sister, Mary Falls, Galesburg; brothers (spouse), Harold, Cameron, Ill., Murrel (Karen), Joy. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and five brothers.
