Jeanette Starr, 76, of Milan, Illinois died Friday, February 12, 2016 at Trinity Rock Island.
Visitation is Tuesday, February 16th from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Dennison Funeral Home, Viola. A private burial will be held at Farlow Grove Cemetery, Matherville.
Jeanette was born October 14, 1939 in Taylor Ridge, Illinois a daughter of Arthur and Christina Mueller Krahl. In July of 1959, she married Ronald R. Redpath; they were married until his death on April 29, 1977. In 1984, she married Amos Starr, they later divorced but remained good friends. Jeanette worked at the Rock Island Arsenal for 34 years, retiring in 2009. She enjoyed fishing, reading and doing puzzles.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Tonya (Jay) Banasiak, El Paso, TX, Nanette (Brian) Evins, Preemption, IL, Tony (Pam) Redpath and Ronnie (Robin) Redpath, all of Viola, IL; grandchildren: Joe Richard, Zach, Mallory, Natasha, Vanessa, Tori, Mary, Grant and Claire; 6 great grandchildren and a brother: Charles Krahl, Scottsdale, AZ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son: Joe Kyle Redpath, grandson: Ryan Evins and sister: Sharon Oetting.
