Irene Crow Irene Crow, 82, of Viola, died Sunday, May 6, 2007, at Cottage Hospital, Galesburg. Services are 10 a.m. Thursday, May 10, at Viola Presbyterian Church. Burial is in Viola Cemetery. Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, at the church. Dennison Funeral Home, Viola, is handling arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family; they will designate charities to be used. She was born April 3, 1925, in Keithsburg, the daughter of Roy and Hazel McNall Whitehall. She married Clarence Robbins in 1941 in Aledo. She later married John Warren Crow on May 13, 1946, in Muscatine, Iowa. He preceded her in death June 17, 2004. Irene was a homemaker. She loved to dance and crochet, was very craft oriented, she enjoyed the casino boats and was very dedicated to her family. Irene was a past member of the Viola Lioness Club, and also the Aledo Moose Lodge. Survivors (and spouses) include one daughter, Debbie (Fred) Yerkey, Viola; three sons, Larry (Karen) Robbins, Keithsburg, Gary (Brenda) Robbins, Fort Collins, Colo., Dave (Shorti) Crow, Viola; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Opal Tee, Oquawka, Iowa, Lois Strange, Davenport; four brothers, George Whitehall, Monmouth, Curt Whitehall, New Windsor, Kenny Whitehall, Aledo, Floyd Whitehall, Orion, Tom Whitehall, East Moline.
