Gregory A. Mills, 54, of Matherville, Illinois died Sunday, June 09, 2013 at Trinity Rock Island.
In memory of Greg, wear your jeans to his visitation on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Dennison Funeral Home, Viola. A casual memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be left for QC Paws.
Gregory was born September 25, 1958 in Moline, Illinois a son of Edwin and Nancy Smith Mills. He graduated from Winola High School in 1977. Over the years, Greg had worked at John Deere, worked construction, then worked at Nichols Aluminum, Davenport. More recently he owned and operated Cooters Bar & Grill in Matherville. This is where Greg enjoyed spending time, visiting with family and friends. He was a NASCAR fan.
Survivors include his father, Edwin Mills, New Boston, IL; sister, Debra Peterson, Blue Grass, IA and brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Angie Mills, Matherville; nieces and nephew, Cassandra Peterson, Kelsey Peterson, Ember Richardson, Evening Richardson and Zach Evans. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Duane.
