Gerry Brock, Jr., 58, of Muscatine, Iowa (formerly of Keithsburg, Illinois) died Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Trinity Muscatine.
Memorial services are at the Keithsburg First Christian Church on Tuesday, August 11th at 2:00 p.m., with visitation 2 hours prior. Interment will be in Greenmound Cemetery, Keithsburg. Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo is assisting the family.
Gerry was born May 11, 1957 in Kewanee, Illinois the son of Gary and Arlene Sweet Brock. He graduated from Westmer High School, Joy, Illinois. Gerry was employed for 18 years at Wilton Precision Steel, Wilton, Iowa, beginning as a machine operator before being promoted to Foreman. He loved motorcycle riding, watching NASCAR and wrestling. Gerry was a former member of the Circle of Pride Motorcycle Club.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Zachary (Maelyn) Brock, Wilton, IA, Randy Goodrick, Las Vegas, NV and Heather Roberts, Madisonville, TX; 2 grandchildren: Michaella Goodrick and Alexia Pfaffly, both of Madisonville, TX; parents: Freeman and Arlene Shoemaker, Aledo, IL and siblings: Freemie Shoemaker, Oquawka, IL, John (Teresa) Brock, Kewanee, IL, Leanna Sall, Galva, IL, Sheila (Merlin) Dean, Woodhull, IL and Tonya Lococo, Galva, IL.
He was preceded in death by his father: Gary Brock and sister: Carmie Shoemaker House.
