Donna Howard

Donna Fae Howard, 71, of Keithsburg, Illinois died Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Holy Family Medical Center, Monmouth.

Memorial services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 9 ^th at First Christian Church, Keithsburg.  Following the service, the family invites all to stay for a time of food and shared memories.  Memorials may be left for the church.  Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo is assisting the family.

Donna was born January 29, 1944 in Clinton, Iowa a daughter of Morgan and Stella Brown Yates.  On January 24, 1965, she married Raymond Brobston.  She later married Walter Lee Howard, Jr. on February 9, 1973 in Aledo.  Donna had worked as the manager at Casey’s in Keithsburg for several years; and at Fisher’s Grocery in Oquawka.  She enjoyed sewing, baking and playing cards.  She loved to gather for family dinners and attending her grandkids sporting events.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband:  Walt Howard, Keithsburg, IL; daughters:  Dana Brobston, Denise McCampbell, Wendy Howard and Holly (Doug) Griffin, all of Burlington, IA; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and siblings:  Loretta Yates, Keithsburg, IL, Dennis (Kathy) Yates, Monmouth, IL and Dewey (Dawn) Yates, Secor, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents and great granddaughter, Leo.
