Dolores Maves, 86, of Matherville, Illinois died Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Carle Bromenn Medical Center, Normal, Illinois.

Funeral Mass is 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 12^th at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Matherville.  Burial will be in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Viola.  A time of food and fellowship will follow the graveside at St. Anthony’s. Memorials may be left for St. Anthony Catholic Church.  Dennison Funeral Home, Viola is handling arrangements. 

Dolores Ann was born January 17, 1937 in Rock Island, Illinois the daughter of John Everett and Opal McCardle Maves.  She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.  Dolores enjoyed flowers, and her beloved dog. 

Dolores is survived by her guardian, David Basala II.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and aunts:  Annie and Ethel McCardle.
