Curt Wilson, 63, of Sherrard, Illinois died Friday, June 1, 2012 at Clarissa Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2012, with visitation from 10:00 a.m until 12:00 p.m. (Noon), at Dennison Funeral Home, Viola. Burial will be in Petrie Cemetery, New Windsor, Illinois. Memorials may be left for Children’s Therapy Center – Moline or Clarissa Cook Hospice House.
William Curtis Wilson was born February 13, 1949 in Aledo, Illinois a son of Anson and Bette Esp Wilson. He graduated from St. Ambrose College, Davenport in 1973. On June 16, 1973, he married Candice Roquet in New Windsor. Curt was a Supervisor at John Deere Harvester – Moline, retiring in 2009 after 36 years. He served in the Army National Guard. Curt enjoyed golfing, restoring John Deere Tractors and doing yard work and gardening.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Candy Wilson, Sherrard; daughters, Courtney (Ken) Legendre, Davenport, Carrie (Todd) Swanson, Bettendorf and Carley (Rob) Alcorn, Buffalo Grove, IL; 4 grandchildren Drew and Carter Swanson and Callie and Cody Legendre; brother, Rick (Linda) Wilson, Freeport, IL and sister, Luan (John) Kozelichki, St. Charles, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
