Cecilia R. Harrison, 65, of Viola, Illinois died Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Genesis Medical Center, Aledo.
Per her wishes, there are no services and interment will be at Rock Island National Cemetery in the future. A memorial fund will be established in her name and sympathy cards may be directed to the family at Dennison Funeral Home, PO Box 194, Viola, IL 61486.
Cecilia was born February 1, 1950 in Rock Island, Illinois a daughter of Cecil and Betty Spence Pentland. After her father’s death, she was raised by her mother and step father, Betty and William Lingle. On November 18, 1967, she married Fay C. “Chuck” Harrison in Rock Island, Illinois. Her family was her life… She was a true caregiver, always thinking of others first. She loved spending time with her family, especially the grandkids. She enjoyed traveling and attending Community Bible Fellowship, Aledo.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband: Chuck Harrison, Viola, IL; children: Denny Harrison, Matherville, IL, Stacey Schultz, New Windsor, IL and Pam Langley, Viola, IL; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild with 1 more lovingly expected; siblings: Janice Stevens, Alpha, IL and Mike Pentland, Massillon, IA and several special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step father and a sister Judy Wilcox.
