Bobbie Twitty

Bobbie Twitty, 76, of Aledo, Illinois died Thursday, March 16, 2023 at home.

Cremation has been accorded.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be directed to the Mercer County Food Pantry.  Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo is assisting the family.

Barbara “Bobbie” was born September 9, 1946 in Monticello, Iowa the daughter of Harold and Audrey Shuman Sanford.  She graduated from Monticello High School.  Bobbie worked several years for Utilities Partners of America.  She enjoyed dirt track racing, and tending to her plants.  Her greatest joy was being a grandma.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children:  Tammy (Dan) Kurth, Jim (Trisha) Roark, and Michael (Sarah) Twitty; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and siblings:  Phyllis Williams, Jannet Ray, and Tom Otten.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers:  Jack, Kenny, and Bill.
