Beulah K. Brierly, 88, of Aledo, Illinois died Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Mercer County Nursing Home, Aledo. Funeral service is Friday, May 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior at Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo. Burial will be in Muscatine Memorial Park, Muscatine, Iowa. Beulah was born August 31, 1922 in New Boston Township, Illinois the daughter of Clyde and Ella (Mead) Webster. She was educated in Rock Island County rural schools. She married Lloyd Brierly on July 4, 1941 in Aledo. He died July 30, 1987. Mrs. Brierly was a farm wife. In 1983 they retired from farming and moved to Aledo. She was a member of Aledo First Baptist Church and Jolly Neighborhood Club. Beulah enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid fisherwoman. She is survived by her son: Bill Brierly, Bourbonnais, IL; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter - Judy Thompson, 4 brothers and 1 sister.
