Barbara Thomas, 86, of Senath, Missouri, died Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 8th at Greenmound Cemetery, Keithsburg, officiated by Rev. Charles Reynolds. Local arrangements are being handled by Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo.
Barbara Barnett Thomas was born April 23, 1929 in Keithsburg, Mercer County, Illinois, the daughter of Clarence “Barney” and Helen Bloomer Barnett. She lived in the Keithsburg area from her birth until 1977 when she moved to Cape Coral, FL and then moved to Senath, MO in 2005.
Survivors include two sons: Michael (Cindy) Palmer of Sherrard. IL and Stephen (Linda) Palmer of Fort Myers, FL, three daughters: Linda (Eldon) Sprau of Watseka, IL, Leslie (Jim) Laughlin of Monmouth, IL, and Kristy (Tony) Edge of Arbyrd, MO, 12 Grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and a brother Bruce Barnett of Barrington, IL.
She was preceded in death by a half-brother, James Barnett.
