NOTE: Due to the snow storm, Mrs. Henry's funeral service was postponed until Saturday, December 2 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Keithsburg. Ann L. Henry, 82, of Keithsburg, died Monday, Nov. 27, 2006, at St. John's Hospital, Springfield, Mo. Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Keithsburg. Burial is in St. Mary Cemetery, Keithsburg. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 30 at Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo, with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or Keithsburg Fire and Ambulance Department She was born May 20, 1924, in Victoria, Ill., the daughter of Erhard and Agnes Hedberg Olson. She married William James Henry on Sept. 10, 1942, in Kahoka, Mo. He preceded her in death on July 15, 1990. She had been the kitchen manager at Oak View Country Club, Aledo. In 1960, she went to work as the produce manager at Quinn Brothers Grocery Store, Aledo. She retired from there after 20 years. She enjoyed camping, boating and traveling. Ann was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was a member of the former Keithsburg Lioness Club, where she had served as president, Keithsburg Boat Club and St. Catherine's and St. Mary's Catholic churches. She also had served as a Keithsburg Precinct Democratic Committeeman. Surviving are five children and spouses, Lorraine Shaughnessy, Aledo, Danny and Maxine Henry, Keithsburg, Katie and Larry Olson, Alexis, Joanne Barnard, New Boston, and Rita and Bill Marks, Republic, Mo.; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister and spouses, Judith and Art Badgett, Cheyenne, Wyo. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Patricia Johnson; son, Nicholas Henry; two brothers; and two sisters.
