Jesse H. Bullock, 37, of rural New Boston, Illinois died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017 following an automobile accident near Mannon, Illinois.

Visitation is at First Christian Church, Keithsburg on Wednesday, Sept. 13th from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until the funeral service begins at 2:00 p.m.  Burial, with military rites, will be in Mannon Cemetery, rural New Boston.  Memorials may be left for Keithsburg Volunteer Fire Department.  Dennison Funeral Home, Aledo is handling arrangements.

Jesse was born October 1, 1979 in Moline, Illinois the son of Terry Neal Bullock and Linda Willits.  Jesse served in the United States Navy.  On June 23, 2007, he married Emily Foster in New Boston.  Over the years, Jesse had worked dredges on the Mississippi and as a mechanic for many in the area, last working for Kenny Tharp.  He was a volunteer firefighter for the Keithsburg Fire Department.  Jesse enjoyed fishing, working on cars, off-roading and spending time with family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife:  Emily Bullock, New Boston, IL; children:  Savannah Gibson, Oquawka, IL and Thomas Bullock, New Boston, IL; parents:  Terry Bullock, Orion, IL, Linda Willits, Andalusia, IL and Rex and Kim Willits, Golden, CO; siblings:  Lena (John) Downing, Andalusia, IL, Linda (Rusty) Hocker, Milan, IL, LeAnn (Ed) Ford, Blue Grass, IA, Terry Neal Bullock, Germany, Dale Willits, Andalusia, IL and Krystal (Brad) Foster, Illinois City, IL and grandparents:  Donna (Bob) Phillips and Marge Bullock.

He was preceded in death by his two young sons on July 19, 2013, Jesse and Nic Bullock; grandparents:  Jerry McIntosh and Bertha Binder and uncles:  Kenny and Jerry McIntosh.

Jesse was such a kind & gentle soul and loved by so many people! My heart is just breaking and I'm a loss for words. All I can say is I will be hugging you in my prayers....with all my love to Emily & Thomas, Vannah & Amber and all the rest of Jesse's family. Love Jamie, Jeff & Family

I haven't seen Jesse in a long time. I can't image how terrible it feels to have lost him. Jesse was the sweetest boy and so considerate of others. You couldn't help but love him. It made my heart sad to hear of his death. Rest in peace dear one.

Krystal & Brad, Just wanted to let you know how sorry we are to hear of your brother's passing. I understand how you are feeling as I lost my brother last year and I also was close to him. We will keep you & your family in prayer. We do care about all of you and love you.
